The Foundation has been established by supporters to promote the club, to strengthen the bonds between the club and the community and to encourage the club to take proper account of the interests of its supporters and of the community it serves in its decisions. We aim to support the concept of democratic supporter involvement and representation in the club. The Foundation is also a community benefit organisation. It is here to build bridges between the community and Edinburgh Rugby and to use the power of rugby for the good of the community. We are a not-for-profit organisation and we are therefore the perfect partner between club and supporter. The Foundation needs you, the supporter, to make it a success.

RUGBY FOUNDATION LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE FOR SUPPORTERS
Edinburgh Rugby Foundation is delighted with the appointment of Andy Robinson as the new coach of Edinburgh Rugby Club and would like to take the opportunity of wishing him every success in his new position. We also wish Edinburgh Rugby Club every success tomorrow night in their game at Murrayfield against Ospreys and hope that they are able to build on the success that was achieved in the field of play in last Friday's win against Ulster.
We are pleased to announce that we have launched a new LOCAL RUGBY WEBSITE which will contain news and information about EDINBURGH RUGBY FOUNDATION and will provide a point of contact for all Edinburgh rugby fans with their Foundation. Fans can also join the Foundation online and email us with enquiries direct via the website www.edinburghrugbyfoundation.org.uk. We would ask all rugby supporters in Edinburgh and in the East of Scotland to check with the site, learn what the Foundation is all about - it is a Friendly Society that has been established by supporters for the furtherance of the sport in Scotland - lend us your support! Edinburgh Rugby Foundation continues to go from strength to strength and we are pleased to announce that participation amongst supporters is now greater than ever with membership now standing at over 110. The lucky 100th member is Edinburgh Rugby supporter DAVID ALLAN and he wins a bottle of Metaxa and also a bottle of Isle of Jura Malt Whisky.
Supporters please note that the Edinburgh Rugby Foundation will be running another 50-50 LOTTERY tomorrow night with tickets being sold by Members pre-match for 50p each. We are also highly pleased to announce that The Lottery at this Friday's home game against Ospreys on 5th October will be a "Rollover Event". The Foundation Lottery has proven to be enormously popular with home and visiting supporters alike. One half of the proceeds from the sale of tickets at each game go towards Foundation funds, with the other half being the prize for the lucky person who holds the winning ticket! The winning ticket will be drawn on the pitch at half time by an Edinburgh player. Ticket sellers will be inside both turnstile areas from approximately 6.30pm tomorrow night. Remember - "The more tickets we sell the higher the prize" and since this week's Lottery will be "A Rollover" the total win this week is likely to be in excess of £300!
