The Foundation has been established by supporters to promote the club, to strengthen the bonds between the club and the community and to encourage the club to take proper account of the interests of its supporters and of the community it serves in its decisions. We aim to support the concept of democratic supporter involvement and representation in the club. The Foundation is also a community benefit organisation. It is here to build bridges between the community and Edinburgh Rugby and to use the power of rugby for the good of the community. We are a not-for-profit organisation and we are therefore the perfect partner between club and supporter. The Foundation needs you, the supporter, to make it a success.

Now that Edinburgh Rugby has been returned back to SRU control, The Edinburgh Rugby Foundation (The Supporters Trust) urges all parties involved with the team to be positive and to look to the future.
Back in 2004 Edinburgh Rugby were on the verge of something special. The hope now has to be that relationships will be rebuilt quickly and that common sense will once more prevail, with the team and supporters focusing on the team achieving the best that it can in the field of play.
The statement by the SRU of the intent to consult with all parties is clear. The Foundation has already arranged to meet with the SRU early next week to ensure that the views and opinions of members are put across.
If any Edinburgh Rugby Supporter wishes to make representations to ERF they are invited to do so by emailing us on erfoundation@hotmail.co.uk or by leaving a voicemail on 01592 649996 and their call will be returned as soon as possible.
